The Mid-America Union recently launched a new initiative called “What’s Your Story?” It’s a series of conversations about people’s diverse experiences and life journeys aimed to help us learn, grow, understand, and treat one another better.
This edition of “What’s Your Story?” features Elder Thompson Kay, a member of the Allon Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, who also serves on the General Conference’s Deaf and Possibility Ministries team. In the clip above, he and MAUC president Gary Thurber discuss some of the racial barriers we still face as a church.
