The Waterloo Church welcomed Jeff Buege in concert on Sabbath, June 15.

Jeff is a former member of the Waterloo Church who now lives in Minnesota. He has been singing since he was a boy and professionally for over three decades. His current music ministry began in 2014 when he heard God’s call in answer to prayer at a low place in his life. He lives his faith by sharing testimonies in the form of singing and life experiences.

Since the concert was Father’s Day weekend, one of the stories he shared from his childhood was an impression that his father wanted him to be a carpenter as he was always telling Jeff to meet him “behind the woodshed!” One of his favorite songs is a tribute to his father called “Daddy’s Hands,” after which Jeff shared a story of his father on the ground under his car in frigid temperatures with his hands turning white (his father suffered with diabetes).

Jeff enjoys singing for Jesus and sharing the gospel at churches, care facilities and various events around southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. God has provided him with an extensive mission outreach that includes 490 care centers. He has presented 440 programs this year, taking only a couple days off. His ministry is in great demand and his schedule is full for most of 2019.

Jeff closed the worship hour with a song that captured his passion and describes his mission: “Will You Love Jesus More?” He shared Bible verses with the church, encouraging members to keep the faith in light of promises that Jesus is coming again, that He is our Hope, and that He loves us unconditionally.
