The Spencer Church’s Table Tennis Club recently began their fourth season.
The club was started by church elder Dennis Dahl, who has played competitive table tennis since the 1960s, as a way for church and community members to have fun and stay active during the winter months. Three tables are set up for open play, and a fourth has a robot for people to test and sharpen their skills individually.
The club meets at 7:15 pm every Thursday now through May at 1910 10th Ave E. in Spencer. Anyone looking to play for fun or compete in tournaments is welcome to join the club for free anytime. For more information call 712.262.5766 or email [email protected].
