On a recent Sabbath afternoon, members of the Joplin church gathered and sang outside the homes of 14 fellow members who are currently homebound or otherwise unable to attend weekly worship services in person due to the pandemic.

Their aim was to bring happiness and hope to friends who may be feeling disconnected or lonely. Each member they visited was also given homemade loaves of bread and messages of encouragement. This followed another recent trip to visit homebound members and drop off warm soups and breads.
