Members of the Joplin Church spent their Christmas Eve delivering homemade baked goods and popcorn to local public servants.
Recipients included the Mercy Hospital and Freeman Hospital Emergency Room and Trauma departments, Ronald Macdonald House, Joplin Fire and Police departments, Joplin METS Ambulance Service, Missouri Highway Patrol, and Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.
Church members were greeted with gracious smiles and thankful hearts. Many of the recipients expressed how much it meant to be remembered as they spent the evening away from their families.
