The Golden Valley Church in Clinton, Missouri recently had Worship in the Park, a special outdoor Sabbath surrounded by nature at Sparrow Foot Park on Truman Lake. Approximately 30 members gathered there to enjoy the great weather, beautiful music, delicious food, and sweet fellowship. The sermon included a practical illustration about how abiding in Christ is a lot like abiding in a hammock—completely surrounded and protected. After a potluck lunch, members enjoyed a walk to the lake and time resting in nature.
