Continuing with the theme of loving our neighbors as part of the Love Spencer Project, members of the Spencer Seventh-day Adventist and Bethany Lutheran churches spent a Sabbath afternoon delivering flowers to residents of the Longhouse Care Center in Spencer.
In addition to the flowers, volunteers also prayed with the residents. It was a wonderful afternoon of ministry, one that we will continue next month at the Northshire facility (which is connected to the Longhouse facility).
The Spencer Church’s Mobile Food Pantry will also be the focus of the Love Spencer Project this month. We are looking forward to having several new members of our community volunteering. Contact the Spencer Church for more information.
